Thanks To All Volunteers

BAM would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers who helped out at last Sunday’s camp (November 19) for all their hard work in preparing the Falcon Lake Biathlon facilities and trails, prepping the course for this seasons race events. Many parents turned up to assist in getting the facility into tip top shape!

Some Longtime BAM Athletes Are Moving On

First off, Good luck to our Biathlon Manitoba athletes and Masters athletes as we edge ever closer to the 2017-18 race season. Training is ramping up and I’m sure snow is on many an athlete’s mind.

Alas, Some of our younger athletes (not so young anymore) who have represented Manitoba on the Biathlon Race Team for many years have moved on to expand their horizons. We wish them all the best on their new endeavours! Here they are.

Ian Mitchell of RRNS&B is off to Augustana Campus in Alberta and skiing for the Augustana Vikings

Bowen LeMay of RRNS&B is studying Aerospace Engineering at Carleton University in Ottawa and hopes to ski with the University Nordic team

Emily Davidson of Birch Mountain Sports is currently overseas in an exchange program in Finland.
