MB Cup #3 is in the books!

Another great weekend of skiing and shooting happened at Falcon Lake this past Sunday, where 36 athletes competed in the third provincial cup race of the season.  Approximately half of that number were 12 or younger!  A great thing for the future of biathlon in Manitoba!  Congratulations to all athletes and coaches, plus a HUGE thanks to all the volunteers that make these races possible.

Saturday was a busy day at the Falcon Range as well, as the cadet program held their provincial races…  thanks to the organizers for having the range prepared and all ready to go for Sunday – it was a great help and much appreciated.

As usual, if you have pictures that could be posted on the BAM site, please email to kschmidt526@gmail.com

Results will be posted on this site soon!

MB Cup#1 was a great success!

Thanks to all the volunteers and athletes that made the first Cup race of the season a great success!  With 30 racers registered, the range was busy and it was a challenge to get everyone equipped – a pleasant challenge though!

Thanks once again to Craig Christie for grooming the trails, Brian Walters and Lorraine Mitchell for timing, and Noel Dumontier along with numerous parents and other volunteers who made the range as smoothly as is “normally” possible.

Results are being verified and will be posted asap.  As a reminder, for those of you who want to be notified of new posts, please sign up for the “Subscribe” option.  Notifications of new posts will be emailed to you.  You will find it in the top left corner.
