Shooting Clinic this Saturday

For athletes that have signed up, here are a few details regarding the day.  We most likely do not have use of the lodge, so we’ll be spending the day up at the range.  Each athlete is asked to bring a minimum of 2 Litres of water.  As well, pack a lunch and a couple of healthy snacks.

For clothing, it looks like the day will be quite nice, but bring comfortable running shoes(although we won’t be running this time) and layered clothing.  If you shoot with gloves(don’t we all???), bring those as well.  Throw everything in a backpack, as we will need to carry all the rifles and gear up, so we’ll need extra hands!

See you there!  We’ll get going at 10am, so come a bit early so we can start on time…


Not attending Jun 23/24 camp?

Hi Everyone,

For any athlete not coming to the camp this weekend, if you are still interested in doing a 5km timed run, please send your results to myself (Rachel) by June 24th! (Entries cannot be late) I need to know in order to buy the right amount of prizes for the challenge we will be announcing in September.

For any athletes coming to the camp this weekend, please remember to bring water, a swim suit (if you want to swim), ski poles (both days!), and a helmet on Sunday.

Good luck to our CWG athletes in Halifax!

Our 8 CWG athletes fly to Halifax tomorrow to begin a week of national competition.  This is the culmination of 2 years of preparation and training!  We wish them all the best and are pleased to have them representing Manitoba… Check out the opening ceremonies on TSN (Friday evening – 5pm CST) to catch a glimpse of the awesome uniforms!
