Congratulations to our Manitoba Biathletes in Canmore, Alberta!

Congratulations to our Manitoba biathletes racing in the 2017 Calforex Cup #2 Biathlon Races in Canmore,  Alberta this last week!  Kaylee Dean pulled off an excellent second place Pursuit Race finish in the Senior Girls category on Sunday,  followed by strong performances from fellow athletes,  Bowen LeMay,  Ian Mitchell and Emily Davidson!

Race Results can be found on Zone 4,  Saturday Race,   Sunday’s Race.

Eveline Juce,  formerly from Ski Birch in Manitoba and now skiing for University of Alberta’s Augustana Campus is heading to Almaty,  Kazakhstan for the FISU 28th Winter World University Games at the end of January. Also noteworthy,  Eveline,  having just been awarded a 4-H Canada L.E.A.D. scholarship this fall will be mentored by two-time Olympian,  Megan Imrie from Falcon Lake,  Manitoba as part of the award.

Congratulations Eveline!

Biathlon Rifle For Sale:

Good morning here is a little blurb about my rifle and some pictures.

It is extremely well taken care of rifle, I bought it in 2007, direct from the dealer. Always stored and transported in hard case. It comes with the following;

New firing pin put in

Hard case ( number code entry)

5 mags

I’m sure I can send along the cleaning kit if said buyer is in need.

This rifle has been my pride and joy for  many years, but it is time I pass it on to be used and loved by someone else.

I am asking 5,000 for it. I am open to reasonable offers, keeping in mind that rifles don’t really go down much in value, increase.

Manitoba Athletes Shine At NorAm/Calforex Cup #1 Races in Canmore

Eveline had a Top Ten finish on Sunday’s race, competing for the Camrose Vikings of University of Alberta Augustana Campus in the Youth Women category.

Congratulations also goes out to recent Manitoba biathlete,  Amelia Kovachik, for putting out a solid performance in the Youth Women category.
