Congratulations to BAM Athletes!

Congratulations to Biathlon Manitoba athletes Emma Malkoske (Red River Nordic Ski & Biathlon Club) on being selected for the 2019-20 U20 National Development Team, and Lucas Smith (Whistler Nordic Development Centre) on being selected for the 2019-20 U24 National Development Team!

Congratulations also to Meaghan Smith (Red River Nordic Ski & Biathlon Club) who has been selected to the Biathlon High Performance program at the Whistler Nordic Development Centre for the 2019-20 season. Good luck to all of you in your training and upcoming race season!

Also, hats off to all our BAM athletes this last season for training hard, focusing on improving the variety of skillsets the sport of biathlon requires and making huge personal gains! Especially trying this season of course  was the cancellation of National Championships and a disruption to our routine training regime because of COVID-19. However, like the rest of the world in this time, we will and are figuring all this out so we can develop our training safely and productively. Remember, we are all in this together. Be safe and stay healthy.
