We had a successful weekend training camp at Falcon Lake for our Canada Winter Games athletes and a great Open Camp for all BAM members on Sunday! Even with the wet and cold weather everyone worked hard, pushed themselves to their maximum capacity and enjoyed the camaraderie throughout. Thanks to our CWG coaches Gregg and Heather for making their way to Falcon Lake via planes and long car rides. We appreciate the effort it takes for you both to get here!
Another thanks to coaches Christel, Kenton and Doug for planning the Open Camp and coaching the newcomers, as well as the Masters and Developmental athletes! A big thanks to all the volunteers who helped in all the support capacities making the weekend training run smooth! And of course, a big thanks to the Falcon Lake Resort folks, Caleigh and Ryan in offering the use of the chalet and making sure the grounds were cleaned up for us! Much Appreciated.

This summer, we held multiple Sunday clinics for BAM athletes in contention for the upcoming Canada Winter Games in February, 2019. It was a great success with excellent weather and good camaraderie. Well done athletes for taking the time to come out and train hard. Thanks to Brian Walters for getting the ball rolling and coaches Christel, Doug, Heather and Kenton for organizing the clinics.
On June 23-24, BAM held a training camp for all potential Canada Winter Games athletes and a successful camp it was. One day included performing strength, speed and agility drills at the Sport For Life complex in Winnipeg, with a second day at Falcon Lake Biathlon Range focusing on shooting, hill running and combination drills. A gruelling, but fantastic weekend! Thanks to Coaches Gregg Campbell and Heather Willis for putting them through the paces.
